Leave'em with Liv​

My name is Olivia VanSant.  I began basic dog training and agility in 2003 and was introduced to the fundamentals of dog behavior and human/animal communication. I have participated in AKC trials in Obedience Rally and Agility and have attained titles in both.  

I have lived in the Great Barrington area for most of my life, returning to the Berkshires in 2003 after living in the Green Mountains of Vermont for a short time.  I spent the next 7 years operating my own retail business in downtown Great Barrington.  In 2012, I completed the Animal Control Academy of Massachusetts and served as the Town's Animal Control Officer for 2 years. 

I started Leave'em with Liv in 2013, giving me the chance to meet and work with countless local pet owners, all with different needs.  I deliver trusted, quality care and a professional, stress-free experience for you.

Through a positive approach I am able to instill confidence in dogs and create greater communication between dog and handler. Through redirection and positive reinforcement techniques I have been able to make significant progress with dogs, enabling them to be safe and under control in a variety of environments.
